Dr. Rachel Oolman, DVM

Dr. Oolman grew-up on a farm just outside of Wahoo. She graduated from Wahoo Neumann High School in 2001. Then she attended Kansas State University, where she graduated from veterinary school in 2008.

After practicing veterinary medicine in northwest Iowa and Kearney, Nebraska for four years, Dr. Oolman bought Prairie View Animal Hospital with her husband, Aaric, in 2012. Dr. Oolman’s special interests include soft tissue surgery, wound management, and critical care medicine.

Dr. Oolman and Aaric currently live in Wahoo with their cat Mr. Kitty. In her free time she enjoys working out, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.

Aaric Oolman, Office Manager

Aaric grew up in Paullina, Iowa. He graduated from Northwest Iowa Community College in 2002 with an Associates of Business degree. He then started working for his family’s John Deer dealership as a Salesman and AMS Consultant.

In 2010, Aaric and Dr. Oolman moved to Kearney, Nebraska. Aaric continued to work for a local John Deer dealer until they purchased Prairie View Animal Hospital in May, 2012. Aaric currently works at Prairie View Animal Hospital as their Office Manager.

Aaric and Dr. Oolman currently live in Wahoo. In his free time Aaric enjoys yard work, snowmobiling, and spending time with friends and family.

Amanda Beasley, Veterinary Technician

Amanda is originally from the St. Louis area. She graduated from Wahoo Public High School in 2000. In 2002 she graduated from Vatterott College in Omaha with an associates of applied science degree. Following graduation she took employment with a veterinary hospital in Lincoln and spent some time as the technician at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo.

In January of 2015 she joined the team at Prairie View Animal Hospital.Enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and their three kids and two dogs. Her interests include sporting events, traveling, outdoor activities, motorcycle rides and time spent with family and friends.
